Kuching, 16 November 2024: As part of its commitment to bolstering the national agenda of advancing financial literacy in Malaysia, the Financial Industry Collective Outreach (FINCO), in collaboration with the Financial Education Network (FEN) and the support of the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE), launched the “Train the Trainers: Personal Financial Management for Teachers” programme at the Karnival Celik Kewangan 2024. This initiative is expected to empower over 10,000 teachers nationwide, enabling them to be financially confident educators capable of both better managing their own finances and helping to accelerate the development of a financially literate younger generation, particularly amongst students from B40 communities. The launch of the programme was made possible due to generous sponsorship from AmBank Group, Bank Muamalat Malaysia, Bank Simpanan Nasional, CIMB Foundation, Hong Leong Bank, Public Bank and Sea Ltd.
