FINANCIAL LITERACY

FINCO Good SENS
Good SENS (Social Enterprise Network for Schools) is FINCO’s flagship financial literacy programme developed to address low financial literacy skills amongst primary school students. Supported by teachers and financial industry volunteers, students participating in this programme have the chance to learn more about financial concepts such as spending, saving and budgeting, and the opportunity to have fun while learning valuable skills such as leadership, decision making and teamwork as they run their own social enterprise!

FINCO Ringgit Rules workshops
Informed by research and behavioral insights, FINCO works with school counsellors to deliver Financial Literacy workshops which encourage students to explore the values and mindsets they hold towards personal finance management and to develop good financial habits as they transition to adulthood.
We’ve expanded our programme to include eight topics covering credit scores, loans and scholarships, financial planning, protection, as well as building wealth through investments.
All modules are proudly endorsed by the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB).

FINCO Ringgit Rules Junior Resources
This resource pack contains several bite-sized resources that teachers, Financial Industry volunteers and others can easily adopt and adapt to teach students basic financial literacy concepts as they see fit. It is designed to align to MOE learning standards and is complete with facilitation notes and teaching materials.

Train-the-Trainer Programme: Personal Financial Management for Teachers
The Train-the-Trainer Programme, which is led by the Financial Education Network (FEN), managed by FINCO, and supported by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE), aims to equip teachers with financial literacy to enhance their financial well-being and confidently deliver financial education in schools.
To achieve this, the programme builds the capacity of MOE trainers by enhancing their knowledge of personal financial management, enabling them to train pre-service, in-service, primary, and secondary school teachers nationwide.
