FINCO ACE Camp 2026

FINCO ACE Camp is a career exploration programme designed to help SPM graduates gain exposure to the many pathways available after secondary school while building the confidence to plan their next steps.

In 2026, 78 students from across 9 states participated in a three-day immersive experience where they explored career opportunities, connected with industry professionals, and gained valuable insights into the world of work.

Through interactive sessions, industry engagement, and hands-on activities, ACE Camp equips students with the knowledge and perspective needed to make informed decisions about their post-SPM journey.

Programme Highlights

CEO Sembang Aspirasi

Students engaged in an inspiring dialogue with C-Suites and senior leaders from Malaysia’s financial sector.

Our speakers for 2026 were:

  • Aiza Aryati Kasim, Country Head of HR, Standard Charted MY
  • Fadzillah binti Mohd Faruk, Chief Risk Officer, OCBC Al-Amin
  • Tricia Lim, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, AmBank Group

Through open and candid conversations, leaders shared their personal career journeys, industry insights, and advice on navigating the future of work.

Students also had the opportunity to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of the skills, mindset, and resilience needed to succeed in today’s professional landscape.

Post-SPM Pathway Exploration

Choosing the right pathway after SPM can be overwhelming. This session helped students explore the diverse options available to them.

Students gained exposure to pathways such as:

  • Pre-university programmes
  • TVET pathways
  • Professional certifications
  • Scholarships and financial aid opportunities
  • Entering the workforce

Through interactive stations and discussions, students were able to better understand which pathways may align with their interests and aspirations.

Industry Mentoring

Professionals from participating financial institutions volunteered their time to mentor students in small-group sessions.

These conversations allowed students to learn more about career roles, workplace expectations, and industry experiences directly from professionals working in the field.

Mentors also shared practical advice on preparing for future careers and navigating early professional journeys.

Workplace Visits

Volunteers from various industries hosted our students at their workplace to provide them with a firsthand experience of the careers they are interested in through observation and hands-on activities.

Among workplace visits that students went for are AmBank, Public Investment Bank, Electronic Sports Malaysia, Subang Jaya Medical Centre, and Subang MRO, IPD Brickfields, and Nu-Sa Architecture.

FINCO ACE Camp aims to bridge the gap between education and industry by giving students early exposure to career opportunities and professional environments.
