FINCO Reads: Outstanding Student Competition 2026

📚 Are you a primary or secondary student in a government school who loves to read?

If yes, this is your chance to share your own perspective about a character, specifically about a villain—and express your ideas through digital storytelling!

FINCO Reads: Outstanding Student Competition 2026 with the theme of ‘Villain Origin Story’ invites students to use their creativity and empathy to consider the good side of a villain. No one is born bad. Something must have happened in the course of their life that made them walk the path of ‘villainhood’.

Students are required to choose a fictional book and create the backstory of the villain before they became one. They will then record a video presenting their version.
