The ceremony saw 239 students, parents, teachers, Ministry of Education officials and representatives from the financial industry in attendance to celebrate five teachers, eight financial industry volunteers, and 33 students being awarded for their outstanding achievements and participation in FINCO programmes.

The FINCO Student and Teacher Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of students and teachers across English and Life Aspiration programmes in 2023.

  1. HIP-FINCO Reads Teacher of the Year 2023: Sunita Devi binti Arafat Paramanandam from SK Rantau Panjang, Selangor and Shifa Husna binti Azmi from SK Telok Kechai, Kedah.
  2. Careers InSight Career Fair Counsellor of the Year 2023: Mary Binti Kim Soon from SMK Bintulu, Noorasmony Binti Abu Bakar from SMK Kemena, and Tuni Ajin Anak Melina from SMK Baru Bintulu, Sarawak.
  3. FINCO Aspire Outstanding Student of the Year 2023: Afeena Fariesha Binti Razali from SMK Kota Samarahan, Sarawak and Khairunnirah Binti Khairuddin from SMK Sura, Terengganu.

The FINCO Good SENS Awards recognises students for outstanding achievements in improving their financial literacy and establishing their social enterprises, as well as teachers and financial industry volunteers who provided invaluable support throughout the students’ 8-month entrepreneurial journey.
