  1.  FINCO #IYKYKChallenge (“Online Contest”) will be governed by these terms and conditions (collectively “Contest Terms”). By participating in this Contest, Contestants/Participants (each as defined below) are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Contest Terms.
  2. The Organiser and promoter of the Contest is Financial Industry Collective Outreach (FINCO) (Registration No. 201701026533), of Level 2, AICB Centre of Excellence (ACE), No. 10, Jalan Dato Onn, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (“Organiser”).
  3. This Contest is open to all citizens or permanent residents of Malaysia, aged 14 – 24 years old as at the Commencement Date.
  4. Contest will commence at 0000 hours on 22 February 2024 (“Commencement Date”) and will end at 2359 hours on 11 March 2024.
  5. The following person(s) shall not be eligible to participate in this contest:
    1. Employees and immediate families of FINCO
    2. Affiliates, appointed agencies and suppliers of FINCO
  6. To join, participants will watch the daily videos posted on FINCO’s Instagram page, identify the word-of-the-day in the video, and submit the word-of-the-day along with their favourite tip via FINCO’s Instagram Story by 9pm each day.
  7. A total of fifteen (15) winners will be selected from 22 February – 11 March 2024 to win:
    1. 3x Daily Prize: GrabGift vouchers worth RM150 each
    2. 3x Daily Prize: ZALORA vouchers worth RM150 each
    3. 3x Daily Prize: BookXcess vouchers worth RM150 each

  8. Daily Prize winners and Instagram Live winners will be announced on 15 March 2024.
  9. Prize fulfillment will occur anytime from 15 – 30 March 2024. Prize fulfillment is not inclusive of delivery duration for physical prizes.
  10. FINCO reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value. FINCO reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Contest when it becomes necessary to do so.
  11. To receive the prize, Participants shall provide their personal details for the purposes of identity verification as well as marketing and promotional purposes in connection with this Contest. All Participants must ensure the details provided are true, accurate, current and complete. FINCO reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all Participants and to disqualify any entry not submitted in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
  12. FINCO will not accept any responsibility for entries lost, delayed, misdirected or undelivered. FINCO shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunications networks, internet access or otherwise preventing participation in the Contest.
  13. FINCO reserves the right to reject or disqualify any incomplete, invalid or inaccurate entry without giving any reason or cause and without any liability or compensation whatsoever to any Participant or any other part.
  14. Winning entries will be selected based on creativity and at FINCO’s sole discretion.
  15. FINCO’s decision on all matters relating to this Contest is final and binding. No correspondence (verbal or written) will be entertained.
  16. Prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items.
  17. Permission to publish: By entering this competition, you agree to give FINCO your permission to publish any materials for promotional or educational purposes on their online platforms. The publication will take place on the FINCO website, on Facebook and Instagram and it can be used for public relations purposes. In addition, you assure us that you own the rights to the text, photos and videos and that you grant us the right to use them. We assume no responsibility for the contents of the individual contributions.
  18. Use and Disclosure of Personal Data and Purpose Specification: FINCO will keep confidential all personal information collected through this competition. We may however disclose such information to the following parties in the course of using the information for the reason it was collected:
    • A person or company acting on behalf of FINCO;
    • Any other person or company who has undertaken to keep such information confidential, provided they have a right to such information.
  19. Data Retention: We will keep any personal information you give us as long as there is a reason to do so, for instance to satisfy the law or regulations, or to protect our interests. If not, then we will destroy it by purging it from our electronic, manual, and other filing systems according to our internal procedures and schedules.
  20. FINCO will publish the names of the 15 winners in FINCO’s Instagram or Facebook page anytime from 15 – 30 March 2024 (Announcement Date). If you object to any or all of your name being published or made available, please contact FINCO: [email protected]
  21. Insofar as is permitted by law, FINCO and its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of you participating in this Contest or taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of FINCO, its agents or that of its employees.
