Restoration of Surau at SK Seri Mega
During the monsoon season last year, SK Seri Mega’s surau sustained significant damage due to storms and flooding. The facility was left with a leaking roof, cracked walls, and damaged doors, affecting its usability for students’ religious activities.
Following an appeal for assistance, AmBank supported the restoration efforts by mobilising a team of volunteers to carry out clean-up and minor repair works.
With the combined efforts of the volunteers and contributions from AmBank Group Malaysia, the surau has since been restored to a safe and functional condition. Students are now able to resume their religious studies in a more conducive environment.
This initiative highlights the value of timely support and collaborative effort in restoring essential school facilities for the benefit of the community.
