Aspire workshops and Sembang Aspirasi
FINCO ASPIRE workshops encourage students to explore their values and better understand the decisions they need to make to achieve their career aspirations. They provide knowledge on a range of post-secondary options, including different schools, courses, and work pathways, ensuring students make informed decisions. Skills-focused modules, such as communication, resume writing, and interview techniques, equip students with practical tools to prepare for future careers.
Sembang Aspirasi complement ASPIRE by giving students direct insights into various careers through interactions with working professionals, including annual CEO volunteer talks by leaders from the financial industry. These sessions inspire students and broaden their understanding of career possibilities beyond the classroom.

Spark Training Programme
The Spark Training Programme aims to provide school counsellors with the necessary skills and knowledge to better guide students in their Post-SPM Pathway planning. Counsellors are trained to deliver FINCO’s Post SPM Pathway module to their respective students. The module includes tools and activities to help them understand their priorities, learn of emerging careers in the market and understand the various pahtways available for them after SPM to reach their aspirations.

ACE Camp
ACE Camp is a 3-day face-to-face camp aimed at providing active FINCO students with the required knowledge and skills to pursue their post-SPM goals and ambitions. This acts as a final touchpoint with the students before they embark on their Post SPM journey. Not only do the participants build an action plan together with FINCO, they are also introduced to mentors from our Financial Institution network who go on to continue their mentorship even beyond the camp.
Careers InSight
Careers InSight aims to bridge the gap between employers and education in order to improve students’ understanding of career opportunities available to them and the skills and behaviours valued by employers.
Careers InSight
Careers InSight aims to improve students’ understanding of career opportunities, the skills and behaviours valued by employers and pathways to securing high value employment. The programme works closely with school counsellors by building their capacity, providing them with the knowledge, tools and resources to support the delivery of high-quality career fairs.

Careers InSight Career Fairs (CICF)
Through this 6-month training initiative, 46 counsellors selected by State Education Offices across Malaysia build their capabilities in project management, employer engagement, and data collection and analysis. These skills equip them to better guide students in planning their post-SPM pathways while strengthening their own knowledge and experience as career counsellors.
The programme results in hybrid or physical career fairs, where upper secondary students have the opportunity to engage directly with employers. Through these interactions, students gain real-time insights into different industries and careers, helping them make more informed decisions about their future after school.
